Lane Handbag

October 24 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Lane Handbag from Sallie Tomato

Learn the basics of working with cork and faux leather while making the beginnerfriendly Lane Handbag. This versatile pattern can be made from a wide range of materials—cork, faux leather, vinyl, or cotton—and includes recommended options to help you customize your bag. In this class, we’ll focus specifically on techniques for sewing with cork or faux leather, giving you confidence to incorporate these materials into future projects.

Participants should be comfortable using their sewing machine and have basic sewing skills. All materials must be cut out before arriving to class. Be sure to label each piece as you cut—this preparation will make the class run smoothly and allow us to focus on assembly and finishing techniques.
