Glenda Mooney
My name is Glenda Mooney. I have the baby/kids booth at Trisa’s Quilting Corner and More.
I began sewing when I was 10 years old, being taught by my mother. In the early 80’s, I self taught myself how to do satin stitch applique. I had a craft show for 12 years at my home in rural Philo/Villa Grove area, making 100’s of appliqued sweatshirts. and other crafts.
For another approximately 20 years or more, my friend Cindy Mitchell and I started setting up our crafts at craft sales in the area and also setting up our crafts at different stores.
I now have a permanent booth at Trisa’s. My booth has baby taggie blankets, bibs, burp cloths, stuffed animals, small quilts, and receiving blankets, plus many other things. Sometimes, I also put in fun things for the adults, like tote bags, casserole carriers, cloth envelopes for gift giving, and mug rugs to name a few!
Sewing and creating things is a pass time that I love, and I find myself sewing everyday. Please enjoy shopping in my booth for that perfect gift or finding something in the store to create for yourself. Trisa’s Quilting and More is such a fun shop to explore!
