Sallie Tomato: Mackenzie

The Mackenzie bag features a go-anywhere size, multi-panel styling ideal for embellishment or featuring prints, interior pockets, and an adjustable shoulder strap. This is a beginner-friendly pattern. Participants need to be familiar with their sewing machine and have basic sewing knowledge.

Class: Saturday, August 22, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Class Fee: $45.
Students will also purchase the pattern for $12.99, and fabric, hardware, and supplies. The pattern provides recommendations for fabrics and hardware.

Students will need to cut out the pattern, fabric, and foam stabilizer before class.

Jeanette Weider, Sallie Tomato Certified Educator, is passionate about teaching, learning, and all things sewing. With more than 20 years of experience, she has honed her skills in quilting, bag making, and a variety of sewing techniques. Jeanette is a patient and enthusiastic instructor who loves helping others discover their own creative potential. She takes pride in working with each student to find the learning style that suits them best – making sewing both approachable and fun for everyone.
